When printers took large cartridges of simple construction, cleaning was a process ignored by most small scale remanufacturers. It was only deemed necessary for contaminated or very dirty cartridges. Technology has moved on: cartridges are smaller, ink fills lower, and ink additives put in place by the manufacturers that make refilling difficult. As a result the emptying and cleaning of cartridges before refilling is now an essential. Investment in cleaning need not be great: but your investment will help you produce a great product! |

| Filling Equipment | Whilst it is perfectly possible to refill cartridges with a syringe and needle, the best consistency and quality is achieved by using machinery.
