Q. Will a remanufactured cartridge damage my printer? A. Whilst anything is possible, the simple answer is
No. As the remanufactured cartridge is simply the original refilled, it is not different in shape, size or weight from the original. Point out that the printer and cartridge are separate items independent
of each other. The only damage could come from a leaking cartridge, and you have taken steps to prevent this.
Q. Will a remanufactured cartridge void the warantee on my printer? A. Most printer manufacturers have now accepted
that the after-market is here to stay. We are not aware of any manufacturer who now states that use of a compatible or remanufactured product will void the warantee. Some are even providing special
instructions for using remanufactured cartridges in their printers.
Q. Why use a remanufactured cartridge not a refill kit? A. Because home refill kits rarely use the proper
ink: they use universal ink which is not optimised for the cartridge. Leaks are less likely, pressurisation if required is done properly and of course, it is not as messy.
Q. I prefer a branded product. A. Really? Who's brand? The vast majority of "own brand" cartridges
available from supermarkets, office suppliers and computer shops are remanufactured anyway.
Q. What is the difference between a remanufactured and a compatible cartridge? A. It depends which type of
cartridge you are talking about. "Compatible" for ink tanks like Canon and Epson means made and filled by a professional company, usually on a large scale. The plastic body of the tank is
new. "Remanufactured" for this group means an existing cartridge refilled. The two terms, "compatible" and "remanufactured", mean the same thing for HP and Lexmark cartridges with foils.
Q. I've bought remanufactured cartridges before--they are no good. A. What you mean is you have bought one that has
not been remanufactured correctly. Using the right inks and machinery and experience means a reliable product--which you the manufacturer should have enough confidence in to offer a money-back guarantee!
Q. I've got a x x x x printer. What cartridge does it take? A. Have your reference lists handy! You would
be surprised how many customers do not know the cartridge they need.
Q. This cartridge I bought from you does not fit in my printer! A1.
What printer have you got? - Check your reference lists A2. Have you removed the clip? - Honestly we have had some who didn't! A3. Have you removed the tape? - As above! A4.
If it is a photo cartridge, which carriage did you put in it? Some customers do not understand that the photo cartridge replaces the black cartridge--they try to put it in the colour carriage!
